Brain & Beast Fall Winter 2015/16: 80 Barcelona Fashion Week

Channeling inspiration from psychedelic elements and death instinct, latent in every human being; the collection was a mix of varied aesthetics and challenges the set behavioral norms. Taking queue from iconic cult cinema ‘A Clockwork Orange’, the destructive & maniac design elements of the pieces signifies releasing our internal beasts, and fears, and to exercise ways to overcome trauma and paralyzing phobias.

The collection challenges the education system, the fear that it creates, leading to anxiety and guilt. The energy of the destructive impulses collides with the libido of the impulse to create, an escape in itself for a better tomorrow. Demonstrating a strong belief that there is no shadow without light the collection marches towards the vast possibilities of a gift called life.
